persona 5 is actually my other main long-time interest. i began looking into it around the same time i started playing enstars, around 2022, but i was only ever orbiting the game and fandom until last year. i really enjoy the plot of the original persona 5, and have really grown to love all of the characters (apart from one. but you didn't hear that from me.) due to their spectrum of behaviour and reactions, and how well they mesh as units. don't get me wrong; this game is really long. i haven't finished watching a playthrough of the original persona yet, and i'm barely further than kamoshida on my own p5r run (i got p5r on a midweek steam sale for £20), but i do enjoy this game a lot. my two favourite characters are akira and yusuke, but i can appreciate all their individual traits and behaviours and how they interact. some of my favourite scenes are yusuke's confidant, and the scene between makoto and ann where ann asked how to adress makoto. everyone is so well built, i really have to give props to atlus. i really want to get into persona 3/4, but i obviously haven't found the time betwen things to get into them considering their length.
my favourite thing about persona 5 outside of the characters has to be the music. i listen to the full soundtrack a lot, and my favourite tracks are when mother was there, tokyo daylight, layer cake, and nothingness...?, and my favourite from the p5r soundtrack (that i've heard; i listen to the original soundtrack) is axe to grind. the original soundtrack is the kind of thing i can put in the back whilst studying or walking home, which is really nice. i love this soundtrack. it's embarassing that atlus was my top listened (top 1% of listeners) for 2024 spotify wrapped, but i do listen to this album way more than i'd like to admit.
also i do call joker akira; i tried to keep it as neutral as possible for the shrine title, blinkie etc. but he will be called akira in his shrine. he is akira to me ok you cant stop me.
